For Johnny Trojan Horse's Rootin' Tootin' Journey To The Centre Of The CPU (JTHRTJTTCOTCPU)
My inspirations for this game came from the Mega Man franchise, Shovel Knight and Celeste. It is a 2D platformer styled after classic 8-bit NES games.
My goal for this game was to create an expandable game system with levels designed to teach the player controls and mechanics through gameplay rather than laborious tutorials. This project was the first time I was in charge of working from nothing to a full game system with no outside help.​

Guidance and expertise were given by my module supervisor. I broadened the experience of the game with feedback from peers between iterations of the level. Otherwise, everything you see was made by me.
